Your Lovey Stories

Our little guy was given a TY pluffies blue "Dangles" monkey by his grandparents. This came after he was given a pluffies elephant, which he loved and was his first real lovie...until he stuck the trunk down his throat and gagged himself with it. Daddy said no more "eddie" until he was older, and so Eddie was replaced with "MoMo." My parents got an extra for their house.

We moved to Colorado, and my parents sent him with both Momo's just in case. For a while, we could rotate them around. When we decided it was time for a spare Momo, it was of course discontinued. We bought the new brown versions, and those "sort of" worked but wasn't the same.

As the two blue Momo's got more and more worn, we decided we needed to find another at all costs! My sister, found one on ebay for $50 and bought it for him for his 2nd birthday. At the same time, we found another on ebay for a steal at $25! So now we had 2 more momo's and were thrilled!

However, Latham wasn't so thrilled! If you give him a new momo, who is actually soft and BLUE, not grey...he throws it and yells, "No, not CLEAN Momo! Want DIRTY Momo!!" So we have lots of spares now, but only the ONE original DIRTY momo will work! Go figure!!!
