LostMyLovey is the FREE online lost-and-found for children’s toys, accessories and other lost children’s items, and home of the LostMyLovey ID Tag. So how does it work?
Our website offers two distinct services.
1) We have an online classified-ad type service for lost or found items, or for parents looking for a replacement for an item. The classified ad is free, and you can post as many items as you wish. You just need to
register as a member of the site to use our service. Post your lost item in our classified ad listings
here.
2) We also sell a soft ID Tag, called a
LostMyLovey ID Tag, to attach to your child's lovey for trips and outings. The tag is custom-embroidered with your phone number and a unique ID number. If your lovey is dropped or lost, the ID Tag allows the finder to call you directly, or by going to our website, typing in your unique ID code on the tag, and sending you a message.
The tags can be purchased for yourself or as a gift. If it is purchased as a gift, we will email the recipient a gift notification with instructions on how to send us all the information needed to choose their color combination and create their custom tag.
These two services are separate and independent of each other. You don't need to buy a tag in order to use our classified ad service. Really, the tag is just insurance for the next time you lose something. Conversely, if you purchase an ID Tag and your item later gets lost, you do not have to post a "lost" item in our classified-ad service. It certainly can't hurt though, and tag owners who post a "lost" item listing get featured on the home page for free in the Have You Seen Me? box.
Lost Something?
You can post a Lost Item Listing on our website free of charge. The listing will stay up for 1 year. For a small fee you can be featured in the rotating “Have You Seen Me?” box on our home page, which gives you better visibility. If someone thinks they have found your item, they can contact you via our private messaging system to provide their contact information and arrange to return the item.
Both parties must register with the site to use our private messaging system. Membership is required to post items, respond to listings, and contact other members. This helps us cut down on spam and fraudulent responses, and allows owners and finders to contact each other easily and safely. It’s painless, we promise. And we won’t spam you. Ever.

Found Something?
You can
post a Found Item listing. When the Owner sees your listing, they can contact you via our private messaging system to arrange the return.
Found Something with a LostMyLovey™ ID Tag?
First, call the number on the tag of course! If you are unable to contact the owner, visit our Found with ID Tag page and
enter the Tag ID number; and we'll contact the Owner immediately via email. Want to know more about our ID Tag?
